We are a not for profit organisation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of animals in need.


What personal data we collect and why we collect it

  • The information collected when you contact us to initiate the adoption process is used to enhance the service provided to you. The details you provide will be used by us to organise a home visit, assess your suitability for adopting from us and arranging for you to visit cats/kittens in our care.
  • Your details will be stored securely to enable us to stay in contact with you throughout the adoption process and after the adoption has taken place where necessary.
  • Once an adoption has been finalised, we are permitted to store your details in order to maintain accurate and demonstrable records of all animals that come into our care.
  • Personal details are stored in order for us to provide a voluntary service for the benefit of animals and national public as specified in our constitution; to fundraise and promote the interests of the charity; manage our volunteers and maintain our own accounts and records.
  • Band of Rescuers will never share or sell your personal details with third parties.
  • Your personal details will not be used for marketing purposes.
  • When visitors leave comments on the website we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
